FILIPA HORTA E COSTA
Filipa started her career as an Interest Rate Trader and has worked in the Financial Markets industry in London for over 11 years. After moving to the Consulting sector, Filipa worked in several transactions and strategic reports within the pharmaceutical landscape and is now in charge of the company’s Operations.
Filipa holds a MSc in Business and Management from Nova Business School and speaks fluently English, Spanish and her native Portuguese.
KATERYNA NESTERUK
Before joining Eccleston Associates, Kateryna earned her PhD in Molecular Medicine from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, where she focused on basic and translational projects centered around gastrointestinal oncology. Prior to this, she worked as a high-throughput Screening Scientist at Enamine.
Kateryna also holds an MSc in Biochemistry and a BSc in Biology from the Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
ROSE CUTHBERTSON
Rose holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Royal Veterinary College of London. She has worked on corporate due diligence, sell-side, as well as corporate strategy and transformation projects.
She has expertise across the ophthalmology, pharma, healthcare, life sciences and veterinary industries. Rose is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
LAURA LOPEZ LEON
Laura is an economist with more than 6 years of professional experience in public policy and regulation. She has worked with both public and private international stakeholders on health, education, transport, and energy policies in Latin America.
Laura holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from University of Oxford and speaks English, Spanish and Italian.
CARLOS HUBER
Carlos joined Eccleston Associates after graduating from the London Business School with a Master’s degree in Finance. He has previous experience in business and project management, finance, supply chain, logistics and execution of social projects.
Carlos holds an MSc in Project Management in Mexico.
TERESA DELERUE
Teresa has completed her MSc in Bioscience Entrepreneurship at UCL where she was exploring the interface between business and bioscience. Her main interests in this space are neurosciences, immunology, and digital health.
Prior to her experience at Eccleston Associates she worked with multidisciplinary teams from different science labs and in a health-tech start-up.
ALANNA GREEN

BREA CANNADY
Brea completed her BSc (Hons) in Physics with Medical Physics at UCL before joining a boutique headhunting firm focusing on mandates across front office roles in investment banking and private equity.
Brea’s main area of interest and expertise is in medical imaging technology. She is also fluent in English, Czech and Slovak.
HUGO PINTO CORREIA
Hugo started his career at Accenture and Oliver Wyman before moving to corporate roles in Telefonica and Orange in the UK. Since 2011, he has led multiple due diligence and large PMO and post-merger integration projects across the UK, Continental Europe, and Brazil, with a specialist sectoral focus on healthcare and TMT.
Hugo has an MBA from INSEAD and speaks fluent English, Spanish and his native Portuguese.

GONÇALO SILVA
Gonçalo started his career at Unilever before moving to Roland Berger and then collaborating with Candesic and Mansfield Advisors. Since 2000, he has led multiple due diligence and corporate strategy projects across the UK, Continental Europe, Brazil and the US, and has a specialist sectorial focus on pharma and healthcare, with a strong track-record in transaction work, strategy, transformation and post-merger integration.
Gonçalo has an MBA from INSEAD and speaks fluent English, German, French, Spanish and his native Portuguese.
DAVID IRVING
David’s sector experience covers secured-lending (residential, commercial and asset-backed), specialty finance, multi-family and single-family housing, autos, consumer receivables, aviation, and non-performing loans, investing across all parts of the capital structure.
He most recently co-founded Irish Homes- a vertically integrated, social housing delivery platform based in Ireland, delivering 180 homes to families (as at Q1 2022).
David holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Management Science from Trinity College Dublin.
AMIR ZAFAR
Amir is an investment banker with over 20 years experience in delivering strategic advice to entrepreneurs and corporations on identifying attractive areas for investments, sourcing deal flow and building value, with a particular focus on healthcare and consumer sectors. He has advised clients on over 50 M&A deals, as well as principal finance and private and capital markets transactions.
Amir previously led regional and investment banking franchises for ABN AMRO, RBS and Wells Fargo Securities. He holds a degree in Finance and an MBA from INSEAD.
